About ChargeFix

ChargeFix is a Shopify app that helps merchants respond to chargebacks. It reads the order, payment and shipping records behind each Shopify Payments dispute, checks them against what banks look for, and drafts a rebuttal letter from those facts only. You review the letter, and you decide what gets filed.

Why it exists

A chargeback arrives with a deadline, and the proof sits in several places: the order, the payment, the tracking record and your own policies. Putting it together by hand, case after case, takes time that most store owners do not have. ChargeFix collects that evidence in one place and shows what is found and what is still missing, so you can decide whether a case is worth fighting.

What ChargeFix does, and what it does not

• It gathers and checks evidence from your own Shopify records, and scores how complete it is.
• It drafts the letter from verified facts. If it cannot verify something, it leaves it out.
• You stay in control. You review every letter. Nothing is filed with the bank unless you file it, or you turn on Auto mode and confirm it.
• It does not promise wins. The card issuer makes the decision, and no tool can guarantee how a dispute ends.
• It never takes a share of what you recover. Plans are a flat price, billed through Shopify.

How we write our guides

The guides on this site are written and published by ChargeFix, which sells an app that helps with chargebacks. Keep that in mind when a guide compares tools or approaches.

• Shopify's own rules come from Shopify's Help Center. Most guides list their sources at the end, with links.
• Figures in worked examples are illustrations unless a source is cited. Replace them with your own numbers.
• Each guide shows when it was last updated.
• Guides are general information. They are not legal or financial advice.
